I get a lot of questions about SEO and why I have chosen WordPress as my blogging platform. My quick answer is article marketing. All three of these tie-in together, but the most important aspect is branding yourself as the expert in your field. You may start wondering, “well, I’m not really an expert yet.” The truth of the matter is, if your name or website comes up every time readers are looking for information, then you’re providing a value for them. In essence, you have just set yourself as the person with the resource.
The first thing you need to do in order to begin a successful and rewarding article marketing campaign is to understand the concepts of article marketing in today’s world. It is extremely important that you start out with the right mindset in order to prosper.
Most people think that they are going to get massive backlinks to their website and increase its ranking in the search engines. While this may be the case, it will probably not be so for much longer.
From what I am seeing in the industry, people who do article marketing for backlinking purposes, rather than for marketing and direct traffic, are going to be surprised by Google in the near future.

Do not concentrate on getting your keyword phrase into the article, do not concentrate on how many times you are repeating your main keywords, do not even THINK about the search engine optimization of the article while you are writing it.
The main goal of article marketing is having you be the expert in your field. If you’re articles are found everywhere; in article directories, press releases, other blogs, then in most cases, you will start earning your readers’ trust. They will seek you out for more information.
