Why Choose WordPress as Your Blogging Platform
The word “blogging” has been used so often that many people (especially the ones who have not “blogged” yet) will find it confusing. We will refer to a blog simply as a website (a souped-up website that is actually a content management system).
I would consider only two choices for a blogging platform. These are free and hosted by them. They are Blogger via Blogspot (which is owned by Google) and also Wordpress.com. I highly recommend setting up a free blog through both of these portals. Do it now.
Your URL address will be “whateveryouchoose.blogspot.com” or “whateveryouchoose.wordpress.com”
